On Saturday morning 3rd January 2009, Tiesaheb passed away. Innalilahi Rajeun. Tiesaheb was a teacher in Nabipur High School for over 2 decades. He used to teach Maths, Science and Music. He provided very valuable services to school. Many of us were his students and learnt a lot from him. We will miss Tiesaheb. May Allah bless him with Zannat-ul-firfos.

As part of annual graduation of hifz class, Nabipur Madressa has organised a religious function of Takrir. Hashmibava of Kichocha is expected to attend for the takrir. Our heartiest congratulations to all newly qualified hafez and wishing them best for the future.

Free Eye Checking Camp

A free eye checking camp was organised at Nabipur Hospital, fully sponsored by Darbar Wadiwala. About 1100 outpatients were checked and 211 operations referred to Zagadia Eye Care Hospital. May Allah bless all who contributed in this worthy cause.

Following the generous donation by the charity run by Mr Firoz Boriyawala, Nabipur high School is not connected to the high speed internet. An official opening was held at High School by the staff, thanking Firoz for his contribution.
80 new benches are also made available by Firoz?s donation. This will have a positive atmosphere in the student community.

These day Nabipur is busy with many wedding taking place. Many of our NRI visitors are there to celebrate. A daily feast of Gosh ? Pulav is very common now. Some of the famous weddings are as follows:
· Daughter of Vali Adam Vali - @ Bharuch
· Son of Mr Gulam Lola ? Dayavan @ Udhna
· Son of Mr Saidbhai Athni ? Sameer @ Nabipur
· Son of Mr Ayubbhai Athni ? Javed@ Haldrva
· There was a wedding in Fator family as well.

Haji Abdul Karbhari, father of Usman Karbhari passed away this morning. Marhum was a great personality and wide friend circle. May Allah reward him best place in Jannal ul Firdos.

Haji Suleyman Jinka (Aanti) passed away two days ago, Nisarsaheb?s uncle passed away two days ago. We pray that Allah give him best place in Zannat ul Firdos.

The moon was not sighted and hence Nabipur will be celebrating Eid on Wednesday 2nd October 2008. Some nearby villages are celebrating Eid on Wednesday.
